Choosing Words And Music: A Read And Rap Workshop

In the Read and Rap program, kids are the DJs, lyricists, poets and music critics. Youth in this workshop will sample Read and Rap by reading and discussing poems (of your choice), listening to and discussing music, and writing poems of your own with Jennifer (program developer) and Kate (guest artist). We'll also explain how to start a Read and Rap program in your own community to investigate others' words and express your own.
