Tuesday, June 21 at 7pm EST (4pm PT) the National Student Bill of Rights project is hosting a phone conference to discuss our plans for Free Minds, Free People and beyond. All youth whether they are coming to the conference or not, are invited to participate. Please email info@freemindsfreepeople.org for more information.

Rhode Island teachers can receive up to 22 hours of Professional Development Credit from the Rhode Island Department of Education for participating in this conference. If you are interested in receiving credit please check the relevant box on the conference registration form.

IDEA is one of our conference sponsors and their call for organizers should not be missed. The aim is to cross-link youth and adult organizers across the country who share common values and grow the capacity of all of our efforts. The 15 people selected will get a $2K stipend, participate in IDEA Camp and get weekly mentorship. The deadline is July 15th.
