National Student Bill of Rights
Youth are invited to help draft a National Student Bill of Rights, a document that will express what young people believe education should be.
Youth from cities across the country have been working since Free Minds, Free People 2009 to draft local bills of rights. These youth have organized this session to bring together youth from the conference to develop a national bill.
This process will begin Saturday afternoon and will continue on Sunday morning during the Organizing Space.
Youth are also invited to join the committee that will continue to refine and finalize the bill after the conference and organize national actions to spread the word.
Come prepared with your ideas about what your rights should be!
